SANT'ORSOLA THEATER

The Ex Theatre is located in the historic centre of the town. The reading of the recognisable compositional and identity elements of the historic centre was a fundamental preliminary tool for the project. Analysis of the relationship between the building and the street, both volumetrically and in the material and linguistic definition of the façades, has generated a necessary reading key, with the aim of encouraging urban regeneration, redefining relationships. The new theatre stands on the street maintaining the continuity of the curtain wall through a complex geometry of several pitches that connect to the roofs of the adjacent buildings, generating new urban sequences.
