INSIDE-OUT

The project bases its identity on the principle of addition (fill-in). The building has lost its original function and has become an empty object. The new volume fits into the existing building, does not touch the existing structures and is respectful of its history. The project pays particular attention to the context, reinterpreting and integrating the characteristics of the place, reinterpreting typological elements and materials of Verrès vernacular architecture.

 

The space generated between the new volume and the existing one is a living place, full of meaning and dialogue between the past and the present.
